Your Privacy, Our Responsibility

Account Information
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, username and a securely hashed password. If you use Google sign-in, we receive basic account information such as your name, email address and profile image from Google. MdSkool and MdCareer use one shared account identity, so the same sign-in may be used across both products.

Professional Profile Information
In MdCareer, you may provide a profile photo, headline, profession, specialty, location, biography, skills, education, experience and opportunity preferences. Profile fields you publish are visible to other signed-in community members.

Usage & Learning Data
We track quiz attempts, scores, accuracy by subject and difficulty, roadmap progress, and study session activity. This data powers your dashboard analytics and personalized recommendations.

AI Chat History
Conversations with Mira (our AI tutor) — including your messages, timestamps, and AI responses — are stored to let you revisit past sessions and improve response quality.

Community Activity
We store Sparks and other posts, images, comments, reactions, polls, bookmarks, communities, followers, connections and invitations. We also store reports and blocks used for safety, moderation and abuse prevention.

Messages and Voice
MdCareer stores direct messages, shared-Spark messages and voice messages so they can be delivered and displayed in your conversations. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a voice message. Other users in a conversation can retain content they received, including through screenshots or copies outside our control.

Media and Files
We process images or files that you deliberately select for a profile, Spark, community, learning activity, application or support request. Selecting media is optional unless a clearly identified feature requires it.

Device & Technical Data
Standard server logs may include your IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request timestamps and pages or features accessed. We also process authentication tokens and, when notifications are enabled, a push-notification token associated with your account and app installation.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with unauthorized parties.

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored on your device or browser using the storage available to that client. Passwords are never stored in plain text and are hashed before storage.

AI chat history is processed by our backend services and may be stored so you can revisit conversations. Voice messages are uploaded and retained as part of the selected MdCareer conversation until they or the related account are deleted under our retention rules.

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% immune to breaches. We will notify affected users promptly if a data incident occurs.

We use service providers for cloud hosting, databases, file storage, email, push notifications, authentication, payment processing and AI inference. They process information as needed to provide their contracted services. We do not sell personal information or provide it to third parties for their independent advertising.

If you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google's sign-in service. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your information during that process.

We do not share your personal information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

Professional profile fields, Sparks, comments, reactions, follower counts and other community contributions are designed to be visible to other members. Direct messages are visible to their participants. Your email address, password, authentication tokens, private reports and blocked-account choices are not displayed publicly.

You control what optional profile information you add. You can edit profile fields, remove your own content where the feature permits, manage notification permissions, disconnect from people, and block or report accounts.

• Access: You can view your account data and chat history within the app at any time.
• Correction: You can update your profile information from your account settings.
• Deletion: You can initiate deletion from the app's Settings or use our account deletion page.
• Permissions: Microphone and notification access (mobile) can be revoked anytime via your device settings.
• Local data: Signing out or clearing browser/app storage removes the local session but does not by itself delete the server account.

We retain account and product data while your account is active and as needed to provide the features you use. Content you delete may remain briefly in secured backups before routine deletion. Verified full-account deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days, and residual backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten.

Because MdSkool and MdCareer share one account identity, deleting the complete account removes access to both products and initiates deletion of the associated learning, professional profile, community and messaging data. We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, completed financial transactions, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention or enforcement against serious abuse. Such retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and kept only as long as necessary for that purpose.

Deleting a message or post does not remove copies that another person independently saved outside our services. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.

MdSkool is not intended for children under 13. MdCareer is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered contrary to these limits, contact us so we can investigate and delete the account where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as MdSkool, MdCareer or applicable requirements evolve. We will update the date above and provide additional notice in the products where required.
